Apple iPod touch 8 GB (2nd Generation--with iPhone OS 3.1 Software Installed) [NEWEST MODEL]

Just what I was looking for. Great price compared to anywhere else. Fast shipping.

I went from a small ipod nano to this new 32GB ipod and now I know what I have been missing out on. I can't believe the storage and how fast it works. I am very happy with my purchase.

I think it is great for traveling, so you don't have to get the notebook or laptop out in airports if you just want to check emails. Also, it is great for long train rides, if you have the right applications and games. Unfortunately, the battery life is not that good.

This unit is used by my 12-year old daughter, who loves it. She uses it mostly for programs, not music. Go figure.

Biggest downsides:

1. Large for a music player, but then again, it's not really for music, now is it?
2. Needs iTunes (although there are alternatives out there). iTunes is absolutely frustrating and works in a non-intuitive way for people who can think (i.e., Windows users). Even my daughter, who doesn't have pre-conceived notions about Mac vs. Windows doesn't understand how iTunes is set up.

It's an iPod. It does everything it's supposed to do, and it does it well. This is a sleek, sexy, music and media machine.
