Kindle Leather Cover (Fits 6" Display, 2nd Generation Kindle)

I love everything about cover except the hooks don't fit correctly. Lower hook does not hold Kindle on, it keeps coming off hook.

I love the look and feel of this cover, but the design is not good. Within a couple of months of using this cover with my Kindle a crack started around the bottom hook. I've now had my Kindle for over a year and there are cracks by both hooks, and a chunk of plastic came off by the top hook today. The piece that came off actually makes it so the Kindle will no longer stay in the cover. Since the damage is cosmetic and is not currently effecting how the device works, the extended warranty does not cover it.

The design should have included a way to attach both sides of the Kindle to the cover. I would have considered it perfect if that had been the case.

I ordered the cover in the green and I love it. It's the perfect little cover and I have no problems with it. Unfortunately I dropped my kindle without the cover on it and have had some problems turning it off. Wish I had the cover earlier. It traveled with me up 16,000 ft on Mt. Everest and worked great!

I really like this case. I've had it since November of last year and it's been great. It folds back under the Kindle to make for easy reading. Now for the but: For some reason, over the last month or so, the front and back covers have split apart at the seams. Basically the leather cover has separated from the felt-like inside case. For some reason the adhesive has just not held the case. I am hoping to find some kind of adhesive that will allow me to repair this. This is why I scored the case high except for the construction quality and durability.

Really sharp looking. Perfect fit for the kindle and the kindle snaps in place. Protects the kindle well.
