Apple iPod classic 160 GB Black (7th Generation) NEWEST MODEL

I have to say that the price I paid was a bit high, but well worth it. I'll never have to buy another iPod again. If you want an iPod that you'll never need to upgrade from, this is the one. The iPod is truly the digital walkman of the future, and this model is the best of th enes out there at the time that it was released. This is the iPod Apple should have released a long time ago. It can hold up to 38,000 songs, which is just incredible. iPods have always been the ultimate multimedia pocket sized jukebox. This model is the iPod at its best.

I love my I pod, all i wanted was to be able to listen to music and watch videos and this does what I want. I don't want an over integrated piece of technology that is going to be outdated in six months. I have a cell phone, a digital camera, and my I pod and don't want them all together. Keep it classic and simple and this item allows me to do just that.

The product is great -- basic i-pod... the industry standard -- and a tip of the hat to the Amazon operation for seamlessly replacing a defective unit initially shipped QUICKLY and SEAMLESSLY.

I purchased this because my iPod Classic 80 GB finally bit the dust after 5 years of hard use. I loved my iPod Classic which is why I chose this one. I love having more storage space. It is even great for keeping files and notes on, but remember whatever you have on your iPod also has to be in your iTunes on your computer (with the exception of files). If you have 80 GB of songs/movies you must have 80 GB of songs/movies slowing your computer down. I solved this problem by getting and external HD for storage.

My favorite feature of this new iPod Classic is the Genius program which lets you play a song click on Genius and a playlist of similar music is automatically generate on your iPod. Great for creating new playlists or mixes when you can't get at your computer to create and sync.

My favorite use of the iPod Classic is for taking movies on the go. The screen itself is not very large, but paired with the Composite AV Cable it can be hooked up to just about any TV. We love to being able to take our family's favorite movies with us on vacation. I love being able to take my fitness videos with.

What I'd wish were different. I'd like it with a bigger screen (or I'd like the iPod Touch with more storage). I've also found it a little more difficult to find cases for the iPod Classic. There are lots out there, but sooo many more for iPod Nano (not really a big deal unless you need to have a new case to match your outfit for the day).

This product is a great addition to our family. I purchased this as a birthday gift and it has not disappointed!
