Kindle Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G, 6" Display, White - 2nd Generation

The Kindle is the absolute COOLEST electronic toy I have EVER gotten. Aside from saving scads of trees from not printing a paper book, it is wonderful to sit up late (or early) in your pj's and find a new book without having to go to a bookstore. One of my favorite aspects of the kindle is being able to download a sample chapter to see if a book really does interest me. I've spared myself some bad choices but discovered many more good ones. This is a KEEPER!

Great price. I ordered it and immediately filled it with books. It came within days. It is the perfect size to go with me in my backpack all over Manhattan. Battery life is exceptional. What is not to love!

I thought I would try a kindle as I had to have a shoulder operation on the 16th of july and as I would be out of action for a few months I thought it might be easier to use the kindle to read as I recouperated..but I did not think it would be as good as it is. With only one good arm to flip pages I thought I would still struggle but the weight and the ease of pressing the next page button I can lay back and pretend I am still doing the reading and not damaging the book ( if that makes sense ) and it could easily be used from one arm to another..ie..next page left or right side of the Kindle.
I can not rate it highly enough plus the price of the books ( pays for itself after a dozen books or more )and the space I am saving in the book case..

I checked out all the other E-readers out there. None compare to the Kindle.
There's a reason why this devise consistently rates so high. This devise makes it fun to shop for a book. Newspapers delivered right to the Kindle. I don't have to walk to the mailbox in the rain or snow anymore. The 3G version works great. I've been connected where ever I go.
I couldn't be happier.

I have been very pleased, it's easy to use and I like the fact that I don't have to use a weight to hold it open to read while I eat my lunch at work.
