Panasonic ER421KC Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer, Wet/Dry, Lighted

This little device is a good size for the road and stores easily on the shelf between trips. Good value for the money.

My review is limited, unfortunately, to the results of one use.

The first use it seemed to work reasonably well. It pulled a bit rather than cut as well as it should have, but it got the job done with minimal discomfort. Unfortunately, I recently grabbed it out of my closet to do some touch up and it would not turn on. No response. Totally dead. I popped open the battery cover and WHAM! I may not be trimming my nose hairs but I think I just burnt them off with that awful smell. The battery was fine and intact (no leaking or cracks) but the internal case smelled like a mixture of death, farts, and chemicals. In all seriousness it smelled STRONGLY of rotting organic compounds.

I have yet to call Panasonic, but I sure plan on it.

I've had this for a month and it works as advertized. If any nose hairs were pulled, I didn't feel it and I use it every few days. I'd buy it again!

Mine worked as well as I expected (I have no basis for comparison) until it slipped out of my hand and hit the linoleum. Hasn't worked since. Sure it's my fault, but can't stuff be made to bounce or something? 5 stars, but 1 star deducted for fragility.

I have high praise for the Panasonic ER421KC Nose and Ear Hair Trimmer, Wet/Dry, Lighted. I like Panasonic products to begin with but this trimmer is outstanding for its quiet operation and the light helps locate areas needing trimming. Never before this product have I had a thorough trimming of my nose and ears hairs. I highly recommend this product for adult males.
